Built for demanding four-season adventures, the NORTENT Gamme 4 combines exceptional stability, generous interior space and true all-season versatility in a freestanding expedition shelter designed for up to four people.
Inspired by traditional Nordic shelter designs, the Gamme 4 uses a robust five-pole external frame with multiple crossing points to create a remarkably stable structure capable of handling challenging weather and snow conditions. With two entrances, integrated ventilation and the ability to accommodate a compatible tent stove, the Gamme 4 is equally suited to winter camps, hunting trips, remote expeditions and extended wilderness stays.
Key Features
- True 4-season shelter for year-round use
- Capacity: up to 4 people
- Freestanding 5-pole construction for excellent structural stability
- Two entrances for flexible access and ventilation
- 6 ventilation points to help manage airflow and condensation
- Integrated storm flaps around the perimeter
- 10 guylines for additional anchoring in severe weather
- Compatible with a tent stove for cold-weather camping
- Included removable floor covering approximately 2/3 of the ground area
- Mosquito mesh integrated into both outer entrances
Built for Northern Conditions
The Gamme 4 was developed for environments where shelter reliability matters. Its five aluminum poles intersect at multiple points, producing a rigid, self-supporting structure with excellent resistance to wind and snow loading.
Storm flaps extend around the base of the tent and can be secured with snow, sand or stones when additional stability is required. Ten external guylines provide another level of support when conditions deteriorate.
Designed Around a Tent Stove
One of the defining characteristics of the Gamme series is its cold-weather capability. The Gamme 4 is designed to accommodate a compatible NORTENT tent stove, transforming the shelter into a warm and comfortable base camp during winter expeditions and extended stays in cold environments.
Two large lower air vents work together with four upper ventilation points to maintain airflow through the shelter. Proper ventilation must always be maintained when operating a stove.
Included Partial Floor
This configuration includes the dedicated Gamme 4 floor. The removable floor covers approximately two-thirds of the shelter, leaving a functional open area for stove use, wet equipment or camp operations.
Constructed from 70D nylon with a rated 10,000 mm hydrostatic head, the floor adds protection from moisture and insects while preserving the modular character of the Gamme 4.
