Crafted with clean lines that harmonize with nature, Ly 3 is designed for quick and simple setup — typically in 3–4 minutes. Built around only three poles, it reduces weight and improves portability.

Ventilation & waterproof flysheet

The flysheet made of silnylon is waterproof. Seams can be treated with a silicone mixture for fully sealed performance (optional but recommended). Proper airflow is essential to minimize condensation on the inner surface of the outer flysheet.

• 2 large dedicated air vents: at each end of the tent.
• 4 flexible entrances: improve circulation and comfort.
• Top vents = rain overhang: protection when entrances are left open.

Awnings, cooking space & inner capacity

Ly 3 has two spacious awnings with room for packs, boots, equipment, and cooking. The inner tent accommodates three 190×60 cm sleeping pads, plus gear and clothing. For cold days, seal the doors. For hot days, open while keeping insect protection via mosquito netting.

Sleeve-based pole system = wind-load distribution

Ly 3 uses sleeves for attaching the poles. Sleeves are made of thicker durable fabric compared to the flysheet. This spreads wind forces along the pole length rather than concentrating stress points, reducing tear risk and boosting stability.

• Even force distribution: less stress concentration under gusts.
• Better aerodynamic stability: helps maintain the tunnel shape.
• Longer lifespan: reduces fatigue on critical zones over time.

Double poling capability

If you need to make Ly 3 even more robust, it can accommodate double poles through a dedicated pole cup design. The cups are made of flexible, durable nylon (not ABS plastic), improving stability when wind conditions intensify.

Interchangeable Ly configurations

Our versatile Ly series supports interchangeable configurations: combine two Ly1 tents to create a Ly2 with one or two inner compartments; connect a Ly2 with a Ly3 to form a 5-person shelter with two sleeping areas; link three Ly tents together using the middle unit as a cooking or communal zone; or pair a Ly2 with a Ly1 as an oversized vestibule. The system is designed for expedition-level flexibility.
