Ly 2 is designed to provide clean and correct lines that blend in with nature. As a tunnel tent, it is extremely easy to set up quickly and effortlessly — typically in 3–4 minutes. With only three poles, overall weight stays low while maintaining expedition-grade stability.

Ventilation & waterproof performance

The flysheet made of silnylon is waterproof. Seams can optionally be treated with a silicone mixture for maximum sealing. Ventilation is essential to reduce condensation on the inner surface of the outer flysheet.

Awnings, cooking space & inner capacity

Ly 2 features two spacious awnings with room for packs, footwear, equipment, and cooking essentials. The inner tent fits two 190×65 cm sleeping pads plus gear (and can accommodate a child). Seal the inner doors on cold days — open with mosquito netting on warmer days.

Sleeve-based pole system = superior wind resistance

Ly 2 uses sleeves for attaching the poles. These sleeves are made from thicker, durable fabric compared to the flysheet. The result is improved stability and durability under wind-load by distributing forces along the pole length.

Double poling capability

Ly 2 can be upgraded for even higher robustness by accommodating double poles via a dedicated pole cup design. Cups are made of flexible, durable nylon (not ABS plastic), improving stability in unforeseen weather.

Interchangeable Ly configurations

Combine two Ly1 tents to create a Ly2 with one or two inner compartments. Connect a Ly2 with a Ly3 to form a five-person shelter with two separate sleeping zones. Link three Ly tents together and use the middle unit as a cooking or communal area, or pair Ly2 with Ly1 as an oversized vestibule. Expedition flexibility — built into the system.
