The Vanguard Combat Shirt is an advanced combat shirt designed for operations in harsh terrain, where freedom of movement, abrasion resistance, and effective moisture management are essential. It is the first layer in the system, meant to work with you – without restrictions and without compromise.
Functional materials in key zones
The torso is made of Polartec® PowerDry FR knit – elastic, pleasant to the touch, and effectively wicking moisture away from the body. This material not only enhances thermal comfort but also performs reliably during prolonged wear under a plate carrier. The sleeves are made of NYCO fabric (cotton + nylon) – abrasion- and tear-resistant, while remaining breathable.
Reinforcements and combat details
The elbow zones are additionally reinforced with Cordura® 500D, while also serving as pockets for protective pads – without the need for extra layers. On the shoulders, there are YKK® zippered pockets, and the velcro panels sewn on them allow for personalization (flags, ID, IR).
