The Vanguard Over-Shell Trousers are tactical hardshell trousers designed to be worn directly over combat uniform trousers. A three-layer membrane, full-length side zippers and Cordura® reinforcements support special operations personnel, military units and tactical teams working in severe weather.

The three-layer membrane has a 25,000 mm waterproof rating and 15,000 g/m²/24 h breathability. Full-length, two-way water-resistant side zippers make it easier to put the trousers on or take them off, access inner pockets and regulate ventilation during field use.
Full-length, two-way side zippers
Water-resistant zippers run along the full length of the sides. They provide access to pockets in the trousers underneath, support rapid donning and removal, and can be opened for ventilation. Buckles and snaps secure the closures.
Cordura® 330D in high-wear areas
Reinforcements cover the knees, seat and inner lower legs to improve abrasion resistance where contact with terrain and repeated movement place demands on the fabric.
Adjustable waist and elastic suspenders
A waist belt with buckle works with elastic two-point suspenders attached by G-hooks. Non-slip material runs around the entire inner waistband to help prevent the trousers from sliding during movement.

Secure fit over the uniform you already wear
The waist adjustment, suspenders and continuous non-slip inner waistband work together to stabilize the over-trousers during movement. When the shell is not required, its single pocket doubles as a self-pack for compact storage.

Can I reach the pockets in my uniform underneath?
Yes. The full-length side zippers provide access to inner pockets. Their two-way operation also allows ventilation and supports rapid donning and removal.
Where are the Cordura reinforcements?
The knees, seat and inner lower legs are reinforced with Cordura® 330D to increase abrasion resistance in high-wear areas.
How do the trousers pack away?
The trousers have one pocket, which also functions as an integrated self-pack. It allows the garment to be packed down when not in use.
