The Direct Action® BEARCAT Ultralight Plate Carrier is a minimalist armor carrier for users who want to reduce weight without losing modularity. Available in Canada through Fair D Canada, it is built for professional, law enforcement, military and government users who need a light base platform that can be configured to mission requirements.

The BEARCAT uses softshell fabric, laser-cut laminate and 4-way elastic nylon to keep the carrier extremely light while maintaining compatibility with selected Direct Action systems, including interchangeable front flaps, comfort pads, chest rig interfaces and selected SPITFIRE accessories.

Important: the basic BEARCAT plate carrier is sold without a cummerbund. A compatible cummerbund must be purchased separately if required for the user’s setup.
