SEA TO SUMMIT | WATERPROOF LOAD CARRIAGE

Big River Dry Backpack

Rugged waterproof storage engineered for paddle sports, motorcycle touring, expedition travel and demanding field environments. Built to protect critical equipment when weather, water and abrasion are part of the mission.

420D Ripstop Nylon 10,000 mm Waterproof 30L / 50L / 75L Non-PFAS

Built for Hard Use

The Sea to Summit Big River Dry Backpack combines the simplicity of a heavy-duty dry bag with an integrated backpack harness for easier movement of equipment between vehicles, boats, staging areas and remote locations.

Constructed from heavy-duty 420D ripstop nylon, the pack provides excellent abrasion and puncture resistance. Double-stitched, fully taped seams and a waterproof roll-top closure provide dependable protection in wet environments.

Operational Features

10,000 mm Waterproof Protection

Waterproof fabric, roll-top closure and fully taped seams protect equipment from rain, spray and wet environments.

Heavy-Duty 420D Construction

Ripstop nylon provides excellent abrasion and puncture resistance for repeated field use.

Reinforced Base

Triple-coated oval base increases durability and improves water shedding when the pack is placed on wet surfaces.

Integrated Carry Harness

Streamlined EVA foam shoulder harness with sternum strap and removable 38 mm webbing waist strap.

Grab + Lash System

Strong grab handle and external lash rails make the pack easy to secure to kayaks, motorcycles, vehicles and roof racks.

High-Visibility Interior

White TPU interior laminate reflects available light, making equipment easier to identify inside the pack.

Field Repair Buckles

Replaceable buckles allow damaged hardware to be serviced quickly without replacing the complete pack.

Oval Profile

The ovalized design improves stacking and makes the pack easier to lash securely to equipment.

Load Carrying Guidelines

The Big River Dry Backpack is designed primarily as a rugged waterproof transport pack rather than a technical load-bearing backpack.

Sea to Summit indicates an approximate carrying limit of 20 kg for shorter-distance carries and approximately 12 kg for longer-distance carries, depending on the wearer.

Load comfort and practical carrying limits will vary depending on terrain, distance, equipment configuration and individual wearer.
