The QRS is built in Canada by Tatou Armor with Brookwood 500D Westridge NIR fabric, original NIR webbing, professional Velcro/loop integration and AirFlow 8 3D spacer mesh inside the carrier. It is designed as a complete professional plate carrier platform, not a basic shell that needs aftermarket pads or a separate ventilation vest to become wearable.
The 3D mesh spacer creates airflow between the body and the carrier, helping reduce heat buildup during long wear, full shifts, range days and operational deployments.
Quad Release System

For rifle-rated threats, the front and rear plate bags accept 10x12 and 11x14 hard armor plates, including Level III+, Level IV or agency-selected plates according to the required threat profile and the selected plate rating. Side protection can be expanded with 6x6 or 6x8 hard side plates, or with lateral soft armor depending on the mission configuration.
