Fold Shield FGS™
Fragmentation Guard System
The Tatou Armor Fold Shield FGS™ is a rapidly deployable flexible
armor system engineered to extend protective coverage beyond the
conventional plate carrier.
When deployed, the system provides additional coverage for the
lower abdomen, pelvic region, groin, upper thighs and buttocks.
Depending on the wearer's position and attachment configuration,
the Fold Shield can also provide valuable
rear lower-body and posterior pelvic coverage.

Conventional body armor primarily protects the vital organs of the upper torso. The Fold Shield FGS™ extends the protective envelope downward and can be positioned to protect vulnerable lower-body areas frequently exposed to fragmentation.
