Improve equipment accountability by combining the NANUK 935 with a lid organizer, padded dividers, cubed foam or MOLLE organization. The main equipment remains protected in the base while batteries, cables, adapters, documents, tools and replacement components remain visible and accessible in the lid.
Organizer availability depends on the selected configuration.
The best case depends on the equipment dimensions, total loaded weight, transportation method and how frequently the internal layout must change.

Drones and UAS
Protect aircraft, controllers, batteries, chargers, payloads, antennas and replacement components. Compact platforms may fit the 925 or 930, while the 935 and 962 support larger or more complete systems.
High-visibility case colours and configurable interiors support medical devices, diagnostic tools, lighting, navigation, communications and technical-rescue equipment.
The 910, 925, 930 and 935 are identified by NANUK as carry-on compatible. The larger 962 is intended for checked or professional equipment transportation.
Interior measurements should be compared with the complete equipment layout, including foam clearance, cables, batteries, accessories and required separation between components.
Large drone systems, heavy technical equipment and team kits
Wheels or No Wheels?
Wheels improve mobility, but they also add weight, dimensions and mechanical components. The best choice depends on the expected loaded weight and transportation environment.
Choose a Hand-Carried Case
Models such as the NANUK 910, 925 and 930 are appropriate when the case must be lifted frequently, stored inside lockers or vehicles, or carried over terrain where wheels offer limited benefit.
Lower empty weight
Smaller external profile
Easier to lift into vehicles and storage systems
Fewer moving components
Better for short-distance transport
Practical for lighter equipment loads
Choose a Wheeled Case
The NANUK 935 and 962 reduce manual carrying when equipment includes heavy batteries, optics, medical devices, electronics, tools or multiple accessories.
Reduced carrying over long distances
Better airport and facility mobility
Useful for repeated vehicle loading
More practical with heavy equipment
Retractable pull-handle systems
935 for carry-on travel; 962 for large loads
Materials and Protection Systems
NANUK protective cases use a rigid NK-7 resin shell designed to absorb impact while maintaining a practical balance between strength and weight.
Protection is completed by secure PowerClaw latches, environmental sealing, reinforced padlock points and automatic pressure-equalization valves. The exact certifications and ingress ratings depend on the selected model.
Internal foam or padded organization is equally important. The case protects against external hazards, while the interior prevents equipment from moving or striking other components.
NK-7 Resin Lightweight, impact-resistant polymer with reinforced walls, rounded corners and shock-absorbing construction.
PowerClaw Latches Compressive triple-action latches with integrated slide locks help prevent accidental opening.
Pressure Equalization Automatic valves help manage pressure changes caused by altitude, temperature and geographic location.
Interior Protection Cubed foam, custom foam, padded dividers, organizers and MOLLE panels support equipment-specific layouts.
Canadian Manufacturing NANUK hard protective cases are designed and manufactured in Quebec, Canada.
Protective Cases for Air Transportation
Carry-On Cases
NANUK identifies the 910, 925, 930 and 935 as airline carry-on compatible. The 935 provides the added advantage of wheels and a retractable handle for regular travel.
Keeping sensitive equipment in the cabin may reduce exposure to baggage conveyors, uncontrolled impacts and separation from the operator.
Checked and Oversized Cases
The NANUK 962 is not a carry-on case. Its large format is intended for checked transportation, freight, vehicle deployment and professional equipment movement.
Confirm airline size limits
Confirm the total loaded weight
Review oversize-baggage fees
Secure the internal equipment
Use compatible locks where required
Follow lithium-battery regulations
Follow firearm-transport procedures
Apply external identification
* Carry-on acceptance is determined by the airline, aircraft, route, fare class and total loaded weight. Always confirm the carrier’s current requirements before travelling. Firearms, ammunition, lithium batteries and dangerous goods are subject to additional regulations.
Long-Gun and Rifle Cases
The five featured models above are general-purpose compact, medium and large equipment cases. A rifle or long-gun system normally requires a dedicated long-format case selected according to the complete firearm length, optic height, magazines, suppressor or muzzle-device configuration and required foam clearance.
Fair D Canada can assist with long-case selection, custom foam, institutional quantities and transportation requirements.
