FAIR D CANADA / CAMOUFLAGE SYSTEMS

3D texture for winter.
Oak Leaf coverage for woodland.

A printed pattern provides colour and contrast. Raised textile elements add another dimension: texture around the garment’s outline. Explore two distinct 3D systems—the Warmer Alpine winter suit and the Viper Hood Oak Leaf—and choose the coverage that fits your clothing and equipment.

What is the difference between 2D and 3D camouflage?

2D and 3D describe the construction of the camouflage surface. A garment can combine a printed pattern with raised leaves or strands.

Format Construction Products and coverage
2D camouflage Colour blocks or patterns printed on a flat fabric surface. Camouflage clothing and snow overgarments; coverage depends on the cut.
3D camouflage Leaves, ribbons or fibres stand away from the base textile. Ghillie suits, leaf ponchos and hoods; texture extends beyond the printed pattern.

02 / OAK LEAF FOLIAGE

Viper Hood: 3D coverage for the upper body

  • Oak Leaf elements add depth and irregular edges to the textile surface.
  • Integrated hood, mesh face veil and cord adjustment.
  • One size, with an approximate M–XXL fit range for wearers around 165–193 cm tall.
  • Shown over a helmet and plate carrier; check the fit with your own clothing and equipment.

Choosing your camouflage system

Does a winter camouflage suit provide insulation?

The camouflage layer goes over your clothing. Warmth depends on the insulating layers selected underneath; choose them for the temperature and activity.

Which product provides full-body coverage?

The Warmer Alpine includes a jacket and trousers. The Viper Hood is an upper-body overlay. The collection also includes a Helikon-Tex full ghillie suit and a Leaf Ghillie Poncho.
