NORTENT Gamme 6 Arctic (Nylon) — 4-Season Expedition Tent
NORTENT Gamme 6 is a spacious, freestanding 4-season shelter built for the most inhospitable conditions. Designed as a true “cabin in the bag,” it combines a highly stable multi-pole geometry, storm-ready detailing, and a ventilation system engineered for cold-weather use and stove operation.
Capacity: 6 persons (or 4 persons with inner tent, sold separately) — with room for gear and organized storage.
Why Gamme 6 (Arctic Nylon) stands out
- Freestanding stability: 5-pole construction with multiple intersections for severe wind and heavy snow-load.
- True 4-season usability: built for summer and winter expeditions.
- Two entrances: flexible access, improved airflow management, easier gear handling.
- Storm flaps all around: load with snow/sand/stones for extra anchoring and protection.
- External pole architecture: poles support the outer tent (flysheet) — enabling outer-first setup before the inner tent when separated. Ideal in rain/wind.
Ventilation & condensation control
A sealed tent isn’t a perfect tent—airflow matters. Gamme 6 is equipped with 6 air valves to manage moisture and ensure oxygen flow when using a stove:
- 4 top vents to let moist air escape
- 2 large lower vents to draw fresh air in and support stove use
Inner tent integration (optional)
The inner tent (purchased separately) can be used to create a more controllable indoor climate and a dry sleeping zone. It can also be carried pre-mounted with the outer tent for fast deployment, or separated to distribute weight across packs.
- Comfort capacity: 4 persons with room for luggage
- Organization: inner tent includes 4 pockets for small gear
- Bug protection: mosquito nets in openings (inner + outer entrances)
- Cold-weather control: close the inner openings fully on cold days
Materials & reinforcement
- Flysheet (Arctic): ARCX-N700 (nylon)
- Reinforcements: exposed areas reinforced with Dyneema for maximum durability
- Seam sealing: like most silicone-type tent fabrics, seams must be sealed with a silicon-based seam sealer for full waterproof performance
