The NORTENT Ly 1 3S is the lighter 3-season evolution of the Ly 1 concept. It keeps the aerodynamic tunnel design and strong protection philosophy, while reducing carried weight for hikers, solo explorers and professional users who need compact shelter with serious weather capability.
Light, spacious, strong
Optimized around a minimum trail weight of only 1.57 kg, the Ly 1 3S delivers a strong balance of packability, sleeping comfort and storm-ready shelter design.
Fast solo setup
The two-pole tunnel construction is designed for efficient pitching by one person, helping the user establish shelter quickly after a long day on the trail.
3-season protection
Built with waterproof silnylon, a waterproof floor, dedicated ventilation and reinforced stress areas for mountain routes, wet conditions and exposed camps.
More comfort, less weight
Compared with the 4-season Ly 1, the Ly 1 3S is streamlined for 3-season users. Nortent reduced weight and simplified the vestibule layout, while expanding the inner sleeping area for improved comfort inside the tent.
Fabric, airflow and pole engineering
The Ly 1 3S uses premium ultralight silnylon 66 ARCX-N150 with waterproof performance, two dedicated air vents and a DAC NFL pole system. The pole sleeves use thicker, more durable fabric to distribute wind load and protect the lighter flysheet material.
15D silnylon flysheet
Lightweight ripstop silnylon with HH 3000 mm waterproof rating, designed to keep pack weight low while maintaining reliable weather protection.
Through-draft ventilation
Two large air vents, one at each end of the tent, help move fresh air through the shelter and reduce condensation during wet or cool nights.
Double-pole capable
The structure is designed to accept double poles when extra stability is required for exposed routes, strong winds or demanding autumn conditions.
