Cold conditions can turn a clothing change into an equipment-management problem. The Vanguard Access is designed to be put on and used without removing or opening your plate carrier. Its full-length side zippers and pass-through hand pockets provide direct access to carried equipment, helping operators manage insulation around the load they already wear.
Reach your kit through the jacket
Pass-through hand pockets and full-length side zippers let you access equipment beneath the jacket. The carrier can remain worn and closed when putting on the jacket.
Adjust the jacket around your load
Adjustable side panels and a waist-level strap with buckle stabilize the garment during movement. A lower hem drawcord helps limit heat loss, while the two-way front zipper supports quick donning, removal and adjustment.
A hood made for an equipped helmet
The adjustable hood uses membrane fabric and accommodates a helmet with accessories such as hearing protection, battery packs or lights. Roll and stow it in the collar when it is not needed.
