A warm-weather adaptation of Pentagon’s popular BDU 2.0 tactical trousers. The Tropic Shorts combine a lightweight 144 g/m² nylon-elastane ripstop fabric, two-way stretch, reinforced stress areas and a high-capacity cargo-pocket layout for military training, professional duty, range use and outdoor activities. Designed to deliver mobility, durability and practical equipment storage in hot-weather conditions.
Two-Way Stretch

Lightweight 144 g/m² Tropic Ripstop Fabric
The BDU 2.0 Tropic Shorts are constructed from a 94% nylon and 6% elastane ripstop textile. This combination provides a lighter and more flexible alternative to traditional cotton-rich tactical clothing.
Nylon contributes abrasion resistance, manageable weight and efficient drying performance, while the elastane content provides two-way stretch for improved mobility.
Pentagon also applies an antibacterial coating process to the fabric. The material is designed for reduced fabric noise, making the shorts suitable for field, outdoor and professional environments where mobility and discretion are important.
