Inner Tents (2 × 4-Person Modules)
Mjodhall 16 can be equipped with two separate inner tents, each providing space for 4 sleepers. This modular setup gives you a highly flexible living area—run the shelter with one inner tent or two inner tents at the same time, depending on your mission profile, season, and team size.
Why Add an Inner Tent?
- More controllable indoor climate for long stays and winter basecamps.
- Drier sleeping zone and a slightly warmer indoor environment.
- Mosquito protection while keeping ventilation options open.
- Stove compatible workflow: the inner tent can be opened to utilize the full tent volume and keep easy access to the stove.
Access, Ventilation & Adjustability
To ensure flexible access and optimal ventilation, each inner tent includes an opening/entrance both in front and in the back.
- Each entrance includes mosquito netting plus a dense nylon panel—use either as needed.
- All openings are controlled with handy YKK zippers for fast adjustments in the field.
- On cold days, you can bunk down fully closed using the dense fabric panels.
- On warmer days, open the panels while still keeping insects out with full mosquito mesh coverage.
Ceiling Hatches for Condensation Control
Each inner tent includes adjustable ceiling “hatches” that can be opened/closed to help manage humidity and reduce condensation. All hatch openings are also protected with mosquito netting.
