Will this plate stop AP rounds?

• Yes! Our plate meets level 4 NIJ standards and can stop black-tip as well as .30-06-cal. APM2.

What advantages does your plate offer over a similarly priced steel plate?

• Steel plates have several disadvantages such as spalling and increased weight. Running a set of our Level 4 plates will weigh in for a total of around 11 pounds not counting the rifle and any other gear a person may carry. A similar set of steel plates could EASILY run 15-18 pounds, the weight savings you get by going with Fair D Canada are enormous.
